A2Z Code of Conduct

Public policy version: 1.0
Effective date: 2026-10-01

1. Purpose and Scope

A2Z is an online team game in which the BLUE and ORANGE factions participate in WORLD FRONT on fair terms. This Code applies to all A2Z-related use, including gameplay, CALLSIGNs, HELP, parties, reports, purchase support, appeals, and any official community.

2. Core Principles

Users must:

  1. respect every user’s opportunity to play fairly;
  2. avoid harassment and discrimination against allies, opponents, new players, and players joining in progress;
  3. never improperly alter server-authoritative combat, queue, reward, or purchase state;
  4. use HELP, reports, blocks, and other safety tools for their intended purpose; and
  5. protect personal information, accounts, and authentication credentials.

3. CALLSIGNs

A CALLSIGN must not contain:

  • discrimination, insults, threats, sexual content, encouragement of unlawful conduct, or encouragement of self-harm;
  • a real name, address, telephone number, email address, social-media identifier, or other personal information;
  • language impersonating the Operator, an administrator, support, a system message, or a public figure;
  • content infringing a third party’s trademark, copyright, privacy, or other rights; or
  • content intended to evade a filter, restriction, or enforcement action.

A prohibited CALLSIGN may be hidden, changed, restricted from reuse, or lead to an account restriction.

4. Disruption

Intentional disruption includes:

  • repeatedly obstructing allied objectives or unfairly helping the opposing faction;
  • abusing parties, queues, session transfers, or disconnections to obstruct another user’s participation;
  • causing service or device disruption through load, network spam, or abusive input; and
  • obstructing reports, purchases, refunds, account restoration, or support through knowingly false information.

A tactical withdrawal, ordinary mistake, low contribution by a new player, network problem, or legitimate SORTIE EXIT is not a violation by itself.

5. Inactivity

Remaining inactive while occupying a combat slot and failing to return after a warning may result in a restriction. After the specified inactivity period, the server may transfer the ship to NPC control.

A network incident, device problem, accessibility need, or brief interruption will not by itself be treated by automated detection as a serious violation or permanent-ban offence.

6. Collusion

Users must not:

  • control accounts on both factions to manipulate outcomes, world progress, contribution, or rewards;
  • agree not to engage in genuine play while repeatedly collecting rewards;
  • misuse queues, parties, ROOMs, commander orders, or HELP to give one faction an improper advantage; or
  • share or connect accounts to evade enforcement or obtain purchases or rewards improperly.

Legitimate team strategy, concentrating on a shared objective, following commander orders, or coincidentally similar conduct is not collusion.

7. Cheating

Cheating includes:

  • cheats, bots, macros, aim automation, evade automation, input automation, or other unauthorized automation;
  • modified clients, packet manipulation, speed or clock manipulation, position spoofing, or bypassing server validation;
  • exploiting a vulnerability, duplicate processing, disconnection, reconnection, refund, or synchronization delay to copy an entitlement, reward, or combat state;
  • unauthorized use of another person’s account, code, session, device, or payment information; and
  • distributing or encouraging the use of an exploit or bypass.

If you discover a vulnerability, do not exploit or publish it. Report it to info@a2z.gathron.com and follow the separately published Vulnerability Disclosure Policy, including its scope and safe-harbour conditions.

8. HELP Abuse

HELP is a request for repair from allied pilots. Users must not:

  • repeatedly send HELP when it is unnecessary, use it to distract, or use it to lure allies into disadvantage;
  • use multiple accounts to repeat HELP and repair for improper contribution, rewards, or battlefield manipulation;
  • imitate an attack warning, Operator message, or commander order with HELP; or
  • bypass HELP duration, repair caps, eligibility, or cooldown.

Using HELP for a genuine emergency is not a violation merely because the situation changes before assistance arrives.

9. Harassment, Discrimination, and Personal Information

Even without free-text chat or voice chat, users must not use a CALLSIGN, profile, cosmetic, party invitation, HELP, report, or external official community for:

  • threats, stalking, discrimination, sexual harassment, persistent targeting, or encouragement of self-harm;
  • publishing or collecting another person’s real name, address, contact details, credentials, purchase information, or other personal information;
  • impersonation of another person or the Operator; or
  • identifying, retaliating against, or coercing a reporter.

Where there is a specific threat to life or physical safety, the Operator may contact an appropriate authority as permitted or required by law.

10. Reports and Profile Blocks

  1. The Service provides these six report categories:
    • CALLSIGN: inappropriate CALLSIGN;
    • DISRUPTION: disruptive conduct;
    • INACTIVITY: intentional inactivity;
    • COLLUSION: collusion;
    • CHEATING: cheating; and
    • HELP_ABUSE: HELP abuse.
  2. The server records the target CALLSIGN, same-ROOM context, time, and other verification information. The reporter’s account is not disclosed to the reported user.
  3. The same reporter-target-category combination may be submitted once in 24 hours. A specific urgent danger should be reported through info@a2z.gathron.com.
  4. Knowingly false reports, retaliatory mass reporting, and harassment through reporting are prohibited.
  5. A profile block may hide profile presentation, but it does not hide HELP, ROUTEs, combat targets, or other information required for gameplay.

11. Investigation and Enforcement

  1. The Operator considers server logs, ROOM context, repetition, impact, intent, and prior conduct, rather than report count alone.
  2. Standard enforcement may include a warning, HELP restriction for 24 hours or seven days, queue restriction for 24 hours or seven days, combat restriction for 24 hours, seven days, or 30 days, account suspension, or permanent suspension.
  3. Steps may be skipped for serious cheating, a specific threat, misuse of personal information, or repeated violations.
  4. Automated detection alone does not normally determine a permanent suspension. An exception may apply where cryptographic evidence or authoritative server state establishes objectively impossible manipulation.
  5. Enforcement notices display the reason, start time, end time, and appeal method to the extent consistent with safety and investigation integrity.

12. Appeals

  1. You may appeal through info@a2z.gathron.com within 30 days after notice.
  2. Provide the CALLSIGN, notice time, enforcement action, and information reasonably needed for review. Do not submit a one-time code, password, card number, or security code.
  3. The Operator aims to provide an initial response within seven business days and will state whether the action is upheld, changed, or removed and why.
  4. The Operator may be unable to disclose a reporter’s information, security detection details, or another person’s personal information.

13. Changes to This Code

For a material change, the Operator will communicate the effective date and substance in advance and request express acceptance before the next SORTIE or purchase. Access may be restricted immediately where required by law or to address a serious security risk.
